Vendor Opportunities

Join the Hand Me Ups family of vendors and promote your product or service to our loyal following of thousands of families in the Greater Nashville Area. We offer several types of advertising opportunities, all of which provide exceptional value and high visibility for your business.

All vendors receive 2 passes to the 5pm volunteer presale. Vendors who also choose to consign will have their $8 consignor fee waived.

We hold three sales per year: Spring/Summer, Back to School and Winter/Holiday. With a strong focus on quality, Hand Me Ups is one of the most respected consignment sales in the Nashville area, receiving national attention from news media as far away as Los Angeles.

During the Feb/March 2009 sale season, Google analytics reports our website received over 4500 unique visitors.

Goodie Bag inserts: $30

Provide us with 500 flyers, coupons, samples or other promotional items and we'll personally place them in the hands of the first 500 shoppers through our check-out lines. All items should be 8.5inx11in or smaller. Be creative! Coupons, freebies or special offers receive the best response.

Website Advertising: $50

Website advertising is provided for a 4 month period including a high traffic "sale season". Your ad will appear on all pages of our website in our Sponsored Links section on the right side of each page.

Ads need to be 120x90 pixels and in jpg or gif format.

Spring/Summer: January-April
Back to School: June-September
Winter/Holiday: October-December

Email Advertising: $35

Hand Me Ups has a database of over 3000 names that have opted-in to our email list. We send 3 professionally formatted, graphical emails in the weeks before each event. We can include your button or text advertisement in these 3 emails.

We use an email distribution provider that is CAN-SPAM compliant, and uses the most up to date methods in the industry to ensure successful delivery.

Buttons should be in jpg or gif format, and 120x60 pixels. Text links should be 25 words or less.

Banner Sponsors: $20

Do you want to get your message to ALL our Hand Me Ups shoppers? We will hang your banner in our 11,000 square foot sale facility. Your banner will be visible during the volunteer, consignor and New Moms presales, as well as the full 3 day public sales event.

Banners can be up to 6'W x 3'H.

Vendor Tables: $50

Our Invitation Only Presale is a special opportunity to physically market your family friendly goods or services to hundreds of value conscious Nashville families. We will provide an 8ft table with electrical access near the Entrance/Exit door. You will have the opportunity to market your business for the duration of the Presale from 4pm-9pm.

Only ONE table from each company will be present. We ask that vendors do not "share" tables with another company, but you may have more than one person from your business present (however, we can only provide one chair). Table setup is Wednesday afternoon evening from 2pm-4pm. All tables need to be broken down at the conclusion of the Presale.

Raffle Table: $15

Do you want an easy way to increase your contact list and promote your business? Add your giveaway to our Raffle Table. Simply provide us with drawing forms, a basket or bin, and an 8.5" x 11" sign displaying details of your giveaway. This table will be present during the volunteer, shopper and New Moms presales, as well as the entire 3 day public sales event. You may come by at any time during the sale to collect your entries and restock your raffle forms.
