Tagging Items

If you are using the Online Tagging System, please use CARDSTOCK or COVERSTOCK paper.

Cardstock paper at Staples

Regular printer paper is not strong enough to remain on your items as excited shoppers browse the racks. Cardstock and coverstock are available at all office supply stores and in the office supply section of Target and WalMart.

If you are using handwritten tags, to improve checkout speed we use vertical tags. Please use only 3x5 index cards (lined or unlined), NO paper tags. All items must have a tag to be sold. Leave about 1/2 inch at the top of the card for the pin. Please use dark ink, many times colored gel pens are too light to read.

Children's sizes should be NUMERIC ONLY. No S-M-L, if you're unsure of the numeric size, compare it to other clothing. Infant clothes with a size range should be grouped with the smaller size.
ex: 12-18mos goes with 12mos, 24-36mos goes with 24mos

Maternity should be LETTER ONLY, no numeric sizes.

The more detailed your description, the better chance we have of matching up items should they become separated from their tag. Be sure to list name brands and color.
ex: "Blue Baby Gap T-shirt", not "T-Shirt"

Finally, do not write on both sides of the tag. If you need to make corrections, please make a new tag. This helps prevent confusion and theft.
