Consignor Registration

Anyone can consign with Hand Me Ups. Our consignors receive 70% of their sales, less a $6 fee. Consignors also shop special preview sales before the public sale and the half-price sale AND receive one guest pass for each preview sale.

To consign you just need to follow a few steps:

First:

Complete the registration form or call 615-310-5425 to confirm your consignor number and schedule a drop off time. If you've consigned with us in the past you can usually keep your same number, just call or email to confirm that no one else is using it. If you don't have a number, use the first letter of first name, the first letter of your last name and the last 4 digits of your phone number. ex: LD3814

If you've consigned with another sale in the area, we can probably work with the number you were assigned there. Again, call or email to confirm the number and schedule a time for drop off. We do ask you to check your merchandise carefully to see why it didn't sell. Does it need to be cleaned? Should you change the price? Put a better description on the card? If you do need to change a tag, please make a new one rather than crossing out information. This helps protect you, the seller and prevents confusion at purchase.

Second:

Be sure you have at least 30 sellable items or one large item.

Third:

Be sure you read and understand the Consignor Agreement. We will need a signed copy on file for you to participate. You can print this out and bring it with you or sign one when you drop off your items. Your presale passes will be issued to you when we receive the agreement.

Finally:

Prepare your merchandise as outlined in the Merchandise section and bring it to drop off.

Be sure to arrange to pick up your unsold items following the sale. Your check will be mailed to you 10 business days following the sale.

As always, we accept handwritten tags and tags from other sales.
