Consignor Agreement

All consignors are required to sign a consignor agreement prior to participating in the sale.

The following is the text of the Hand Me Ups Consignor Agreement.

• Consignor agrees to allow Hand Me Ups to sell any or all items checked into the Hand Me Ups sale. Consignor sets the price for each item and whether or not it should be discounted at the half price sale. Hand Me Ups reserves the right to reject any item that does not meet qualifications or may be inappropriate. Qualifications are available on the website at: www.HandMeUps.com

• Hand Me Ups agrees to pay Consignor 70% of the total sales amount (75% or 80% for Volunteer workers). The Consignor understands that an additional $6.00 administrative fee is deducted from their share. Checks will be mailed 10 business days following the sale. Mail date for this sale is December 1, 2008.

• Consignor understands that all items not picked up by 11am Saturday, November 15th become the property of Hand Me Ups and will be donated to a non-profit charity. Items cannot be held after that time.

• Consignor agrees to hold harmless and make no claim against Hand Me Ups, Jenifer Gifford or Linda Darden, West End Community Church, any volunteer or paid participants in the sale for any damage, theft or loss of any items consigned to Hand Me Ups. Consignor assumes the risks of these events occurring by participating in the sale.

• Consignor agrees to waive any and all claims for personal injury resulting in participation in the sale from whatever cause against Hand Me Ups, Jenifer Gifford or Linda Darden, West End Community Church, any volunteer or paid participants in the sale.

I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY ITS TERMS.

VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT:

Consignor agrees to work a shift in exchange for an increase in consignment percentage and advance shopping privileges. Shifts are assigned by Hand Me Ups. If a schedule change is necessary then the Volunteer should call 260-1168 for reassignment. Reassignments will be made as shifts become available. Failure to show for or complete the assigned shifts will cause consignment percentage to revert to 70% and future advance shopping privileges to be revoked for all future sales.
