About Us

Hand Me Ups started in September of 1998 as a small, community sale. However, it fulfilled a need in the Bellevue area and grew rapidly. In 2005 the sale had tripled it's size and moved to larger locations three times!

Once Around the Block Kids began in March of 2005 with a focus on giving back to the community. It quickly filled a 10,000 sq ft space and tripled in size in just 3 years!

In January 2008, Hand Me Ups merged with Once Around the Block Kids. Linda and Jen are both Stay-At-Home Moms who feel a strong desire to help other families make ends meet. Each brings their own unique talents to the sale, providing consignors and shoppers with that "small sale" friendliness and familiarity in a large scale venue. We continue to grow and improve with each sale, striving to provide the best in children's consignment in Nashville and the surrounding area.

In addition, we believe strongly in helping families in the Middle Tennessee area. We keep our donations local so that we can offer a helping hand to those in our own community.
