About Us

Hand Me Ups started in September of 1998 as a small, community sale. However, it fulfilled a need in the Bellevue area and grew rapidly. In 2008 the sale had quadrupled it's size and moved to larger locations four times! As the word spread, our consignor and shopper base has grown to include families from all parts of Nashville.

I'm a single mother who understands how hard it is to make ends meet. I've been truly blessed in the love and assistance I've received from the community, especially over the last couple of years. I feel a strong desire to help other families and be active in the community.

My goal is to provide consignors and shoppers with that "small sale" friendliness and familiarity in a large scale venue. As Hand Me Ups continues to grow and improve with each sale, I hope to provide the one of the best in children's consignment sales in Nashville and the surrounding area.

I believe strongly in helping families in the Middle Tennessee area. I keep the Hand Me Ups donations local so that I can offer a helping hand to those in our own community.

In addition to Hand Me Ups, I also own and operate the website KidsConsignmentSales.com, a directory listing of seasonal children's consignment sales in the US and Canada... Because you can never get enough good deals!!!
